What Will You Enjoy Your Vacation in Mexico?

Our family has very good relation with another family in our area that is often traveling somewhere. We live in Colorado, and most of it is local stuff up in the mountains or around the region, for example the Grand Canyon or Jackson Hole.

Last fall, they started chatting about an upcoming journey they had intended to Puerto Penasco, Mexico, and they made us to go along. They were going to drive there, of almost all things. While that looked somewhat dangerous, it was also cheaper to take our whole family of 6 people!

One of the sole reasons these friends to be able to go many places is that they purchased a time-share deal few years back. Properties can come up in different locations that they may bid on, or something. I do not know how it all works. Nonetheless, at a new resort just outside the town they found a two-bedroom rental, and wanted us to stay there at the same place.

We did some exploration and finally ended up on eBay where we successfully got another two-bedroom unit in the same building for the whole week for about $800. This was an ultimate place for the family. There was a large, main room with two fold-out couches, a dining table and a full kitchen.

On one side of the main room was an attached two-bed room that can be rented as a separate unit, with a bathroom. On the other side was a master suite with a king-size bed and a large bathroom. We all fit at ease and were able to cook our own meals, which helped a lot with keeping control on vacation expenses.

The resort was fresh and quite clean, with the beach. The only complaint we had was that the main pool, which had multiple parts to it, had a malfunctioning heater. That would not have been a problem later in the year, but we were there in March, and it was still a little cool.

For accommodation, you can have the best Puerto Penasco beach rentals. It was not a problem to get there at Puerto Penasco. We took 2 days to cover up the distance. First day, we went from Denver to Flagstaff, Arizona and then the rest of the way on the following day. It was similar like driving in the USA. I was surprised at how close it is to Phoenix, which is why Penasco is called Arizona’s beach.

We had a good time for the whole week we spent there as we managed to have Rocky Point beach house rentals. We got some sun, swam in the pool and the ocean. We did snorkeling, and also spent some of our time in the town. All in all, it was a memorable and reasonably-priced trip to take the whole family on for spring breaks.

Things That You Shouldn’t Miss in Sozopol

Being one of the most attractive resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, Sozopol is famous with its incredible rock formations and its wide and spacious beaches, perfect for one’s holiday. The resort’s situation is comfortable for the tourists – it is 35km south from Bourgas and also not far from the resort group of Nessebar, St. Vlas, Sunny Beach and Elenite. The world crisis has slowed the progress in almost all the resorts, but Sozopol remains attractive with sights that are not affected by time or economics – the antique Sozopol. As Sozopol is the oldest town on the Black Sea coast, it can offer a vast variety of cultural heritage. It is believed that the town is dated from the end of the 5th millennium b.c., populated by civilizations, which survived about 400 years and vanished because of the climate changes. Back in 610 b.c. it was restored and settled once again – but this time, named Apolonia. The town was evolved to a trades and harbor center.
